Behind-the-scenes preparation
Let the new hire see that the company is ready.
Assign preparation tasks to IT, Workplace, HR or another contributor. Each task has an owner, deadline and status, so the welcome does not hide a scramble behind the scenes.
Personal-to-business email transition
Keep the journey intact when the email address changes.
Begin preboarding through the employee's personal address, then move the journey to their business email when access is ready. The employee keeps one continuous route into Onboard.
