Interview scheduling software
Schedule complex panels without an inbox relay.
From the candidate overview, recruiters and hiring managers can compare shared availability, choose a time, or send approved options to the candidate. Add the panel, external guests, and meeting link before the invitation goes out.

Candidate self-scheduling
Choose the time, or let Sophie choose.
Confirm one shared slot yourself, send a booking link, or offer a short list of panel-approved options. Sophie sees the same options in her own time zone.
The options stay inside the panel's shared availability.
Interview panels and external guests
One invitation for Sophie, the panel, and external guests.
Add recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and optional external guests from Sophie's candidate overview. External guests receive the meeting invitation without access to the candidate record.

A panel-ready invitation
Check the handoff before you send the invite.
Evaluate interview scheduling software with a recent panel interview: who had to attend, which calendars they used, and what happened when the plan changed. Use the examples on this page to prepare your own test.
Decide whether your current calendar is enough.
Start with one meeting or a sequence.
List required interviewers, optional guests, duration and the candidate's time zone. A panel meets at one shared time. A sequence needs separate meetings in an agreed order. Ask to see your actual format demonstrated; a single panel example does not establish support for a complete interview loop.
Check the workflow you already have.
For occasional interviews with one interviewer, a shared calendar and a named recruiter may cover the work. Test software when repeated panel coordination, candidate choice or missing handovers create extra administration. Run the same case in your current system and record the manual steps that remain.
Verify each calendar connection.
Confirm the Google or Microsoft account each required interviewer uses and who can authorise its connection. In the demo, ask what the recruiter sees if a calendar is disconnected or availability is missing. Name the person who resolves it before offering times to a candidate.
Follow one time from the panel to Sophie.
Offer approved options when the candidate should choose.
Compare the Booking link and Offer times examples with the options shown in Sophie's view. This is a static illustration. Its controls do not change the example, connect your calendars or send a live invitation. Ask to try candidate choice in a product demo.
Check the date as well as the clock.
The example pairs 13:00 in Amsterdam (UTC+2) with 19:00 in Singapore (UTC+8) for a 45-minute interview. In your demo, compare the actual date, time zone and duration in the candidate and panel views. Seasonal clock changes can alter the difference; do not reuse the example offset for every date.
Keep an external guest outside the candidate record.
Hire can include an external guest in the meeting invitation without access to the candidate record. Ask to demonstrate the invitation from that guest's perspective, then check the candidate's time, required attendees and meeting link. Record any permissions your own team must configure.
Test the difficult handover before buying.
A required interviewer becomes unavailable.
Use this fictional exception in your demo: Sophie has chosen a time, then one required interviewer cannot attend. Ask who notices, who agrees a replacement time and how everyone receives the update. Check that the old invitation cannot be mistaken for the current one. Record what needs a recruiter and what remains unproven.
Check the record after the meeting.
Confirm the interview belongs to the right candidate and the assigned reviewers have their next step. Hire connects interview context with structured post-interview feedback and the debrief. Booking an interview does not complete feedback or make a hiring decision; the hiring team remains responsible.
From scheduling to feedback
The interview stays with the candidate record.
After the invitation goes out, Hire keeps the time, panel, meeting link, and post-interview scorecard connected to Sophie as she moves through the hiring stage.

Interview scheduling questions
The practical details, answered.
Clear answers about integrated calendars, candidate choice, time zones, interview panels, and the post-interview handoff.
Which calendars integrate with Hire?
Hire integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Recruiters and hiring managers can compare their connected availability from the candidate record and choose a time that works for the panel.
Can we choose the time or let the candidate choose?
Both. Choose a shared time and send the invitation yourself, or send a booking link or short list of panel-approved options for the candidate to choose from.
How do time zones and meeting links work?
Candidates see proposed times in their local time zone. The confirmed invitation can include a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or custom meeting link.
Who can join an interview panel?
Add recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and optional external guests. External guests receive the meeting invitation without access to the candidate record.
What happens after the interview?
The interview stays linked to the candidate record. Assigned reviewers can complete the relevant post-interview scorecard and bring structured feedback into the debrief.
Schedule the next interview
Turn shared availability into a confirmed interview.
Bring an anonymised panel example: calendar providers, required attendees, candidate time zone, duration and one difficult change. In a Hire demo, test the route from availability to the candidate record and identify the work your team still owns.
